EFY!!

These are the friends that I was with the whole time at efy. The girls were in my company, but the boys were all in a different company. I met them because Chris, the one in the BYU Idaho shirt, was playing hackysack with a couple other kids and I was bored, so I went up to him and asked if I could play and they let me, so I just talked to Chris for a while and then we became friends throughout the whole week at efy. It was so fun!

This was my whole group. I loved them so much! The boys cracked me up and it was so fun to be escorted by them and have them tell the funniest stories!

These are the girls on my floor. They were all from Arizona and we all live so close to eachother it's crazy! I love them so much and i loved that I could be crazy around them and they wouldnt even care!

I loved efy so much and I want to go back SO BAD!

ICE SKATING!

My family and the Crandalls went ice-skating on Friday night. It was way fun! There was like no one there and we were having so much fun with our little snow ball fight! I love the Crandalls so much! We had a blast and I want to go again so bad!

The Trip Home

When we were on our way to the airport after efy, my sister whipped out her camera and said, "LET'S TAKE PICTURES!" I wasn't really feeling up to that because i was sad about going home from efy. I'm glad we took pictures though because now i remember how i felt when i left. I miss efy so much! I had such a blast and I met the most incredible people ever! I'm so glad i went at the time I did because if i went earlier, i wouldnt have had my counselor, Brooke, and she's the most amzing person ever! She's such a great example and i lover her to death! I can't get my camera to work though, so once i have that going, im gonna do an efy post. There's wayy more to come about efy, with better pictures and stuff, so i can't wait to get the camera going!

The Egg Experiment

When my family went camping, my brother, sister and i were so bored, and we decided to cook an egg-hardboiled style-on the fire. We stuck it on the fire and watched it for about 10 minutes, and we were getting antsy so we took it off using a shovel. The first 2 eggs broke, because we couldnt get them off right. We tried it one more time and we got the egg off just fine! We held it in the shovel while we broke it open. IT SMELLED SO BAD! We didn't know where to throw it away because my mom wouldn't let us take it in the RV, so we just had my brother throw it into the forest somewhere. It was really fun doing that "experiment", but i really don't recommend it, because once it breaks open it smells so bad!

CORT. [skittzy]

This is my best friend Cortney Quent. She's also my sister. I love her with all my heart and no matter what, she's always there to cheer me up! Right now, she's in summer school, and has been for the last 3 weeks. I HATE IT! When I wake up, she's already done with summer school, so she goes in her room and sleeps. She's always tired, so we can't hang out. I really can't wait for it to be over!
We rarley get into any fights and if we get into a "fight" it's usually just about what movie to watch on Sunday nights or just weird things like that, and it's over very quickly and we go on acting like nothing happened. We have some pretty hilarious inside jokes, and whenever we get the time, [or a ride] we go to Starbucks for a vanilla bean thing. Haha oh man. I love her so much and she's so cute and gorgeous and funny and just the biggest role model for me! I LOVE YOU CORTNEY!

CALIFORNIA

This is a picture of my little brother Jordan, my sister Cortney, and me in California a couple years ago-for my soccer tournament-at Mission Beach. We all said, "JUMP" and Jordan jumped really high. haha he cracks me up! Melia Mason and I tried to get in EFY at California, but got denied, so we decided to try Provo. I'm so excited for EFY! We're going next week, and I just want to leave right now! This post has like no point, but I'm just SO EXCITED for EFY, so i just made it for fun, haha.

Mesa Soccer Club

This is my team in Las vegas last year for a tournament. I made the Mesa Soccer Club team again for the 5th year in a row. To be honest, I'm sick of soccer! I told my dad that the only way i was gonna play soccer again- for the 9th year- was if i could do Molten Volleyball and Kristen Adam's Dance Barn. He told me that he was totally fine with that, except that i might not have enough time for all that. I'm gonna do it anyways! I'll have practices for soccer Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, practices for Molten on Tuesday and Thursday nights, and dance Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school. Then I'll have tournaments for volleyball every other weekend and for soccer, games every Saturday plus the tournaments. Then, to top it all off, I'm gonna play Mountain View soccer, and Stapley Track. I don't know how I'm gonna keep that one going, but I'll figure something out! It's gonna be really hard to keep up with my accelerated classes, student council and all of these sports, but i love being busy! I'm so scared, but way excited at the same time.

Skeeters

These are the coolest things ever! You just move the handle back and forth to make the "Skeeter" go. In the picture is my cousin, Kendra- she's the one with the fake teeth in- and my sister, Cortney. While we were in Utah, we would go outside and ride these for hours and hours. The weather was SO nice! We did so many things up there to get excersize and i loved it! We went on tons of hikes, went rollerblading, swimming and so much more. It's way easy to excersize up there because it's not 110 degrees outside, like here. My cousins got these skeeter things at a swap meet for really cheap and i don't know where you'd find them here, in Arizona, but i sure do want to get some because they are just so dang fun!

Longboarding

Preston Riggs left his longboard at my house, so my sister and I decided to figure out how to ride it. We were going crazy and rode on our stomachs and all that fun stuff. We crashed A LOT, but it was WAYYY worth it! My sister takes pictures of everything and anything, so we got out the camera and took some crazy pictures of us on the longboard. It was so much fun! My brother goes longboarding all the time and he told me this once. J.C.-my brother- and his friend were in Fountain Hills longboarding down a huge hill. He told me that the fastest speed record on a skateboard was made there. The time was 42 mph. Imagine going that fast on a skateboard! My brother is SO CRAZY and wanted to see how fast he could go on a longboard. Longboards are very, very shaky and not sturdy. J.C. asked his friend to drive right behind him to see how fast he was going. He started down the hill and said he was scared for his life! J.C. said that he wanted to jump off, but if he would've done that, he would've broken TONS of bones. So he stayed on and was trying not to freak out. When he got off, his friend told him that he was going 39 mph! If he would've gone just a tiny bit faster, he could've made the world record! That's crazy! Right after he just could've gotten so hurt on that longboard, he went to jump off some cliffs. I swear, my brother is gonna end up breaking all the bones in his body!

The Dune Accident

This is me-on the left. yes, i have my huge ugly cast on- my sister, Cortney, and my brother, Jordan about to leave for the dunes. When my family went to the dunes for spring break, i took two of my cousins, their friends and my little brother on a Ranger ride. I didn't even know the friends, so i just rode off with a packed Ranger full of kids younger than me. The Ranger didn't have seat-belts in the back, so i just told Jordan, Carlee and Sidney to hold on. I've ridden in the back before and it's pretty bumpy, but i knew that if you hold on, you'd be fine. We rode around the dunes a little and we were getting pretty far out there, so i started to go back to camp. In order to get back, you have to go over some pretty big bumps, so i told the kids in the back to hold on really tightly. Sidney didn't listen and kept putting her hands up. On one of the bumps, she flew up and hit her head on the roll cage. When she came back down, she was screaming,so i told my younger brother to see if it was bleeding. He lifted her hand off her head and saw it was bleeding really bad, so he jumped out of the Ranger and started running. I had no clue he was that scared of blood! When i turned around to see how bad Sidney's cut was, i just turned back around and stepped on the gas as hard as I could! There was a gash about two inches long and it went so deep, you could see her skull. that was the scariest thing i've ever seen in my life! I got Jordan back in the Ranger, finally, and we started driving back. Jordan's so nice, he held his hand over her cut so she could hold on. Everyone in the Ranger was screaming, and i just sat there and tried not to cry. When we got back, my mom nursed her back to health and calmed her down until her dad got back from his ride. When her dad got back, he took her to the hospital and she had to get 9 stiches. My family left right after they did, because Jordan felt so bad.
We went camping right after school got out and he wouldn't ride in the Ranger, let alone drive, because he didn't want anything to happen,so it took him a while to get back in to the swing of things. He still wonders how i get back into that same Ranger and drive like nothing happened, but now we have seatbelts, so i feel so much safer!

Ice-Blocking

While my family and I were in Utah, we went ice-blocking down this hill. We were going crazy! It was so much fun and we all have bruises and scrapes from when we fell at the end. We would go on our knees-so hard- and on our stomachs. Going on your stomach hurt really bad, but it was definitely worth it! My favorite was the traditional "sit down on the ice" tecnique-also the easiest. All of our booties were soaked and we were really tired from having to walk up the hill, so we decided to go get some ice cream. When we got to the park, some kids were watching us go down the hill on our ice blocks, so when we were done, we just left the ice for them to use, but it was smaller, so it must have been harder for them to go down the hill. We also took our towels so their pants were probably soaked by the first ride down the hill! Ice-blocking is a BLAST and if you've ever done it, you definitely should!
